Mountains of Croatia

The Hrvatski planinarski savez (Croatian Mountaineering Association) has created the "Hrvatske planinarske obilaznice", a list of 143 "attractive" mountain tops covering 20 regions. A list of the best of Croatian mountains summits to visit if you like. A passbook is available from the HPS in which one collects stamps as evidence of an ascent. Bronze, silver, and gold awards are available on completion. The virtual tours cover a number of these peaks and are organised here by region. In addition the virtual tours also cover the ground of a number of long distance walking routes and local hiking tours.
